Q: We are going to miss you so much! Can you tell us about your new job at Elle Magazine?
A: I will miss everyone at Waterlily like crazy!! At Elle I will be an Advertising Sales Assistant. Basically, I will be an assistant to the Senior Executive Beauty Director, Executive Beauty Director, and Beauty Director. It is a great opportunity, so I am excited - but it is definitely bittersweet because I love it here so much.

Q: What will you miss most working at Waterlily?
A: That is tough- I will miss everything! Most of all I will miss the girls I work with. Abbey and Catherine are the greatest people to work for, and all of the Waterlily girls are so much fun. I will also miss seeing the new merchandise that comes in daily. It is always exciting to see the UPS man bring in boxes of beautiful summer clothing when it's still cold outside to remind you that the warm weather is coming :) I will also miss all of the customers. I have really enjoyed getting to know them over the past few years, and helping them make selections when they come into the shop.

Q: How did you get into fashion?
A: To be honest, I am not even sure! I have always loved clothes, so working around some of the prettiest brands has been amazing.

Q: What was your very first job?
A: My very first job was definitely babysitting. I have a very big family, so I started babysitting for my cousins when I was pretty young. I think next came Waterlily!

Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I think it depends! During the winter, I love wearing over-sized sweaters and leggings. Anything cozy. During the spring and summer I like to wear light, airy fabrics. I love all of the brands in the store, but some of my favorites during the summer months are Jen's Pirate Booty, Show Me Your Mumu, and Lovers + Friends.

Q: If you were granted a ticket anywhere, where would you go?
A: Somewhere warm and tropical!! Ideally Bora Bora or another island in the South Pacific.

Q: What are three things you can’t live without?
A: My family, my friends, and the beach.

Q: It’s Saturday, you just woke up, what’s on your agenda?
A: If I am working that day, I will wake up, get dressed, and head over to Waterlily! If not, I usually like to go out for brunch with my boyfriend or some of my friends, and then just hang all day- preferably head straight to the beach if it's summertime. I like to try to be outside as much as I can on the weekends.

Q: What’s the best piece of advice you ever received?
A: To always be nice! It may sound cliche, but I always try to treat people the way I'd like to be treated.
