Rhode Island: Newport

The day after the wedding, I wanted to be a tourist and take a sailboat tour around the harbor in Newport. We were lucky enough to have friends with a sailboat who were more than happy to take us out. It was SO amazing! Seeing the other boats along our way was just incredible. At one point, we came across a few 160 ft sailboats in the middle of a race. Each time one of them crossed the finish line a cannon would shoot off. After cruising around for a bit, we met another group of friends in a little cove to hang out for a while. Some of the boys decided to go cliff jumping, which was a little nerve-wracking, but really cool to watch! We motored back to the dock, and the way in was just as awesome as the way out.

On our last day, we headed to a little town called Matunuck to grab some breakfast before starting the trip back to New Jersey. We had the best Bloody Mary's and were able to enjoy the unbelievable view while we waited for our table. It was exactly the way we were supposed to end our mini vacation in beautiful Rhode Island.
