Key Largo, Montego, baby why don't we go....

I spent the weekend in upstate NY and as much fun as I had, it was COLD!  I spent a little time on the mountain watching my nephews ski and snowboard, but after about an hour I was frozen and wanting nothing more than to be back in front of the fire to thaw.  As nice as it is to get out of town for a couple of days, I can't wait to travel somewhere warm!  Luckily I only have to wait to few days because I'm headed to Florida for the weekend to visit my in-laws.  I can't even tell you how excited I am to feel the warmth of the sun on my face.  I feel like this is the time of year where we could all use a vacation from the winter weather in order to recharge.  So over here at Waterlily we've put together a list of a few places that we would love to get away to!  As the winter progresses, I'm sure this list will have several additions so stay tuned!

1. Bonaire

Bonaire is a Dutch Caribbean island off the coast of Venezuela and is known as one of the most amazing dive sites in the world due to the coral reefs that surround it.  I have only just heard about the island, but the more research I do the more I want to go!

2.  Madeira

Madeira is an island belonging to Portugal, but is about 500 miles off the coast of Morocco.  The temperatures this time of year are mild, but you get nearly 10 hours of sunshine a day!!  Apparently since this is considered the off season, the cost of going and staying there is also relatively inexpensive.

3.  Barbados

Barbados is fringed by coral reefs on the West Coast making it an awesome place to snorkel and scuba, while the East Coast has really great surf spots.  Maryann who works in the Manasquan Waterlily  store is taking her honeymoon in Barbados in February, and we can't wait to hear all about it!

Where is it that you're dreaming of to escape the winter blues??
